The wild grass and flowers are so
They are even more

beautiful than Solomon in all his glory.

they last only for a day
and then are good only for fire

The Gospels are not biographies
but they do tell us enough

 to know without his own

 knowledge, the conditions,
the providence. That Jesus would be born
of a virgin was foretold.

That He would be born and that He would be called.

That neither asserts nor denies.
But the virgin birth of Jesus applies.

Very likely He was born
in the usual way. When the angels appeared
the shepherds became afraid.

The angel said: "Fear not." God and His

messengers say to fearful people: "Fear not."

God never merely says:
"Do not be afraid."
He always tells us why

My kingdom is not                                       of this world is not 
                                   food and drink (Because of this 
                  false idea the people 

wanted to seize Him 
and make Him 

                                        their breadking.)     Beware lest you be misled

which was on everybody’s mind because 
they are so easily overcome by 

                 the false ideas of their age.
